January 18th:    Meeting with Forestry commission and Mandy McIntosh to determine final site and install details on Yird Muin Starn.  Galloway forest, Scotland. 

January 27th, 2pm: Live astronomical sonification experiment @ Sound Marathon part II, Institut für Raumexperimente / Studio Olafur Eliasson, Christinenstraße 18/19, Building 2, 2. Floor, 10119 Berlin.

January 28th – February 4th:  Residency 1 at timelab, Ghent, with Wolfgang Hauptfleisch on technical and compositional realisation for the making of  bicycle opera ‘ The swamp that was – a city opera from the ground of Ganda ‘.  Preview fortnight June 9th.  Opening September 1st 2012. Part of  TRACK with S.M.A.K.

February 13th-16th : Research at Culture Lab , Newcastle, to develop movement and composition within a 3D audio space for shark work ‘You might come out of the water every time singing’ . With Dr Adam Parkinson. To premiere The Bluecoat, Liverpool, Tuesday May 4th 2012.

March 5th – 12th:  Residency 2 at timelab, Ghent.  To gather, develop and map compositional material for ‘ The swamp that was – ‘. With Els Viaene.

March 13th-16th: Installing Sonic Bed_Scotland at ZKM,  for ‘Soundart, sound as a medium of art’.  Show runs until January 6th 2013. Bed to play Bend by Matthews and Omnht by Radigue.

March 21-24th : New work with The Lappetites.  To premiere at Vancouver New Music Festival,  Canada, March 22nd. Noise as music is to be lived. No longer stockpiled.

April 2nd – 4th: Eight channel audio cube installation at AudRey.  3D Shark piece preparation with Adam Parkinson and Dave Hunt in the house.

April 8th: Eight channel solo at ELECTRON festival , Geneva. “Where are the wild ones? part one” with special guest Sphyrna Lewini. Free entry.

April 17th – 19th:  Forest chair locating and Real Bothy research at White Laggan bothy, Galloway Forest, Scotland. With Mandy McIntosh.  For Yird Muin Starn.

April 20th: 6pm – 8pm. Presentation of sonification of constellation experiments for Yird Muin Starn as part of COSMOS at Wysing Arts Centre .

April 30th :  Performance with Ilan Volkov & Guests: Gold mines.  at Kings Place, London. 8pm.

May 1st - 4th : Installation of  3D shark work, “You might come out of the water every time singing” at the Bluecoat, Liverpool. OPENS May 4th.

Sat May 5th:  Presentation at Her noise symposium. Tate Modern. 11am-5pm.  ‘Making music for bodies.‘

Monday May 6th – 16th:  Residency 3 at timelab, Ghent.  To develop and map compositional material for ‘ The swamp that was – ‘. With Els Viaene.

Thursday May 24th: 1st  6 channel performance of ENDINGS with ensemble directed and composed by Jeremy Peyton Jones.  at De la Warr pavilion.  INFO

Friday May 25th : 2nd 6 channel performance of ENDINGS with ensemble directed and composed by Jeremy Peyton Jones.  at Purcell Room, Southbank, London. INFO.

Thursday May 31st: 3rd 6 channel performance of ENDINGS with ensemble directed and composed by Jeremy Peyton Jones.  at Arnolfini, Bristol. INFO.

Tuesday June 5th: performance with Guy Sherwin and solo at the Gran Lux. Eine lange Nacht mit Film und Performance at the VIENNA FESTIVAL.  9pm-1am
