Thursday 6th March: ‘Composing with routes’ – From works made tracing sounds through the map of the human body, following journeys made by school children and rivers in England, Belgium and Portugal as well as the hunting routes of hammerhead sharks in the Pacific ocean, Matthews will present her work using these approaches as fundamental in enabling not only new compositional methods but creating wider audiences.
